Pauline was my across the street neighbor for over 17 years. She truly was one of the loveliest neighbors I’ve ever had.  I will miss her dearly.  She truly loved her children and grandchildren and always exemplified a good Christian person.  To her family, I am so very sorry for your loss and may all your wonderful memories of her sustain you at this difficult time. 

We didn’t see Aunt Pauline much growing up but when Aunt Mary Lou got sick all the sisters came to Kansas City.  I drove them all around in my small car-she told me she didn’t think I was a good driver but appreciated the ride!❤️   Makes me smile.   She may not have been wrong !

We are so sorry for your loss.  We loved Aunt Pauline, she was always fun to be around, we have fond memories of our times especially the family reunions.  I felt like I had a special connection with her.  She was always there for Mary Lou and that was so appreciated.  Much love and prayers to you all. 

I have celebrated my life with my mom over the last 30 years I saw her we visited took care of each other every single day. I am carol number four out of six children who love my mother deeply.  She lived a mile away so we could visit share stories food Tryumps  and failures.  She would tell me about her travels her Catholic daughters,  golf championships so much more.  I was kindergarten teacher
for 35 years and I would tell her my daily stories teaching the angels every day.  I retired five years ago and began traveling with my man . mom would feed my dogs cats any animals . I had  no worries. She was famous for her doggy parties she cut up meat in small pieces bring it to my animals in the backyard and chant doggy party! doggy party!
  
As I write this today I am relieved that she’s in heaven.  Last six weeks she was unable to come over and she gave me my house key back.

I began  waking  up each morning in despair........    then I realized that my mom was still here.... she’s just at her house so I could still go see her... so that was lucky to have that time to adjust. InStead of mom coming here.,,, Whitney and I would go there and Whitney would insist on crawling up on her and putting blankets on her and putting lotion on her legs and mom said it’s OK it’s OK..     when the hospice nurse was taking her blood pressure Whitney crawled up next to her and took moms hand  and held it against her heart, Whitney s heart.   

I know that mom is OK and so am I because of my faith which I learned Through her.  

We will have to remember every day that God is in charge we have to tell him every day to hold us take care of us and wait because he will.  Mom‘s friends Gloria and Marie gave me the Fiat prayer and I say it every day and God basically says no matter what’s happening to you hang in there .
Mom’s Catholic daughter friends and her sisters are myrole models.  No one taught us how to get old &they’re doing beautifully with faith

My dear friend Carol’s Mom gathered us in her living room with our SWTSU class choices and helped us decide our future careers. I loved how she always called us “you girls” and treated us like her kids. 
She also taught me how to make hard boiled eggs that peeled easily. I love you Mrs. Whittington for being a great Mom to so many in River Plantation, Conroe, TX. Love to the Whittington’s, my family for many years. 

My husband Mark loved his Mom so much and was always concerned about her being lonely.  He invited her on our honeymoon cruise to Alaska and we had such a great time she kept going on trips with us from  San Francisco to St Petersburg Russia.
The last few years have brought more than our fair share of loss to the Whittington family first with Edd's passing, followed by Davey and Mark; but somehow she found the strength to keep going and celebrated her 90th birthday with loads of chocolate.

I always admired  my big  sister ,, I   have   4  others , I so admired her  wonderful family ,   six children  and her devotion  to her  faith  and  family . I admired her R.N .  THAT  LED HER high  position  as Charge  Nurse at U of IOWA  Hospital .  She modeled a  behavior that was modeled  for her 7 siblings  or the world to emulate. She so enjoyed her children  and grand children. She traveled the   world  with her Shell Oil  husband   who held a position  that allowed them  private jet  miles and pleasure. As   I File her phone number in my angel  file, wipe my tears   , will  miss her  so  much  but I remind  myself God is  in  charge. love and prayers ,  DOROTHY
