Polly Joy Topping Taplin of Conroe, Texas passed away October 14, 2010. She was born may 18, 1925, the daughter of Walter Rodman Topping and Harriet Hollister Topping of Delavan, Wisconsin. Polly graduated from Delavan High School, The University of Wisconsin (Madison) and received a graduate degree from Gallaudet University.
Following a 40 year business career she retired to Albuquerque, New Mexico and later moved to Conroe, Texas. Polly was a member of Delta Delta Delta and the P.E.O. Sisterhood.
Polly is survived by one daughter, Carolyn J. Ritchie and her husband Jimmie C. Ritchie of The Woodlands, Texas and three grandchildren. She will be interred in Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan, Wisconsin.
