Ralph Leo Smith

Ralph Leo Smith 85 passed away on September 1, 2022 in The Woodlands, Texas. He was born January 22,1937 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Leo was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Ralph Smith and Thelma Nowell Smith; sister, Rosalie Ruland and her husband Bill.

Leo graduated from Central High School in Tulsa Oklahoma in 1955 and then joined the Navy. He was discharged from the Navy in 1958. Leo worked as a purchasing manager for various Oil Companies for 50 plus years and retired in 2007. During his career he and his wife Marie lived in various cities throughout Oklahoma and Texas. They settled in Oak Ridge North where they have lived for the past 42 years. Leo enjoyed wood working and making lasting pieces his family will enjoy for years to come. He also enjoyed annual chess games with his granddaughter.

Leo is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marie Smith; son, Mark Smith and his wife Razelle; daughter, Jill Cunningham; grandchildren, Justin, Kimberly, Mckensey, Michael, Joseph, Amanda, Bronson, Bonnie, Mason and Clint; great grandchildren, Mckenzie and Charlotte.
