Rhue Dean Knight, 80, of Conroe passed from this life into eternal life on Thursday January 21, 2021 at HCA Houston Healthcare. She was born on October 03, 1940, in Conroe, the daughter of Joe and Lois (Plunk) Lang.
She graduated from Conroe High School, and married her high school sweetheart, Gary Lyndon Knight, to which she was married to for 63 years. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She was a Godly woman who helped in the song ministry, taught Sunday school lessons, paid her tithes, and helped build many churches over her years. She was a loyal member to the China Grove Baptist Church as well where she attended every Sunday.
In her spare time Rhue Dean would crochet, help her husband build homes, and spent time with their dog Dandy, while checking in on the large family she held dear. She was a strong quick witted woman who will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Knight; daughter, Loyce Ann Nunez and husband Jody; son, Nolan Ray Knight; sisters, Ida Lois Dunn and her husband Earl, Nola Carol Snoe; brother, Billy Wayne Lang; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and grandparents, she was proceeded in death by her brothers, Joe Frank Lang, Carlos Lang, and Nolan Ray Lang; sister, Ruby Nell Biano; and grandson, David Lyndon Nunez.
A graveside service will be on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Morgan Cemetery in Cleveland, TX. A reception will be held at China Grove Baptist Church in Willis, TX.
