He dearly loved his family and spoke with great pride of them. Rick always radiated with a big ol grin on his face and a kind word to go with it. So sorry for your loss. I knew him  from living at Narrows they were our neightbors. I loss my son Jody in 1989. I have some feeling of what you are going though. I could'nt made it without the support of friends & family and my belief in the heavenly father. So I pray that God will give you the strength and peace in the days ahead. My condolences go out to the entire family.

I had the good fortune of working for several years with Rickie as one of his Chapter Mom's while he was a member of New River Demolay.  He was a great person to work with and was always helpful. Together we survived many trips, meetings, conventions, festivals, dances and community service projects. We all have many fond memories of what we were able to accomplish, especially being from such a small, rural area. Be assured that he will be rewarded for his kindness and devotion to his family and friends. My sincere condolences go out to his entire family. It was an honor to have known him and worked with him.
