Ricky Wayne Atkinson, 60 years of age, was born on August 26, 1956 in Houston, Texas and passed away on August 28, 2016. Ricky graduated from Furr High School and attended the University of Houston. Computer research and reading was his main source of entertainment, especially in his later years. Ricky is survived by his son, Jeremy Atkinson and wife Irene; daughter, Jennifer Hedge and husband Terry; grandchildren, Moriah, Zayne, Delilah and Desmond; parents, Ira Atkinson and Gwen Umsted; brother, Ronnie Atkinson. A visitation will be Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Cashner funeral home in Conroe, Texas from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The funeral service will be Friday, September 2, 2016 beginning at 12:30pm.
