Robbie Juanita Hathorn Anderson

Funeral services for Robbie Juanita Hathorn Anderson, age 88, of New Waverly will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor Gene Kendrick officiating. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. with a graveside service at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Trinity, Texas. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home.

Robbie was born on December 18, 1922 in Centralia, Texas to Joseph Miller Hathorn and Myrtle Alice Womack Hathorn and passed away on July 18, 2011 in Conroe, Texas after a yearlong battle with bladder cancer. Juanita graduated from Hudson High School in 1940, moved to Houston, Texas where she met her husband Wilton Lemuel “Andy” Anderson and they married March 7, 1948. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Andy (he passed away on March 7, 2003 on their 55th wedding anniversary); an infant son; grandson, Phillip Duane Anderson II; 1 brother, Womack Hathorn; and 1 sister, Cleo Kendrick. She is survived by 3 children, Wilton Lynn Anderson, Phillip Duane Anderson Sr. and Robbie Jan Anderson Upchurch; 3 grandchildren, Farrah Marie Anderson, Jacob Ray Upchurch and Amy Lynn Upchurch; 3 great grandchildren, Felicity Nicole Anderson, Aubry Lynn-Marie Upchurch and her little care giver Caiden Patrick Beene; 3 sisters-in-law and 1 brother-in-law, as well as many nieces, nephews and great friends she loved very much.
