Robert Lee Hurst

Robert “Bob” Lee Hurst was born April 30, 1934 in Vernon, Texas to Ollie and Nora Hurst and passed away peacefully on October 18, 2017 at 9:05 AM. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Ollie Hurst; mother, Nora Hurst; brother, Ollie Hurst Jr.; sister, Billie Martin. Bob's character, enjoyments, and life were straightforward – he loved his family, and he loved to sing and play golf. Bob is survived by his wife, Joy; children, Lesha (Gary)Dugger, Britt (Kenda)Hurst, Ken (Sherri)Walker; grandchildren, Amber Waldmann, Ashley Bishop, Kenlee Hurst, Brittnye Davis; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Sue Jones and Linda Hanson. Bob also leaves behind an abundance of special neighbors and life-long golf buddies in Panorama Village. He is missed by many, young and old alike.
