Rob followed in his father’s footsteps at The Gullo Auto Group in Conroe, Texas. For over 18 years, Rob excelled at every task appointed to him, first at Gullo Toyota, then Gullo Mazda. Rob embraced his work family and the Gullo family and cherished every opportunity given him in those 18 years.
Rob lived his life to the absolute fullest. Having overcome personal struggles in his early life, he never took for granted a moment with his family and friends. Rob's most treasured moments in life were spent doting on his beloved daughter, Tenzye (Sugar Bear). Tenzye was the sun and the moon and everything in between to Rob.
Rob never failed to fill a room with laughter and colorful jokes. He loved weekends spent poolside with his Dad, listening to his favorite all time band, Alice in Chains, or watching sports with family and friends. He was always quick to point out his angel number, 210, a symbol he said would signify his nearness even in his absence.
Rob was a quintessential example of resilience and love. One of the most valuable lessons he imparted to us was to cherish our loved ones and never take life for granted. His life and legacy will remain an inspiration for all who had the privilege to know him.
Rob is survived and will be deeply missed by his daughter, Tenzye Piersall of Yukon, OK, parents, Cosette and Bruce DeRose of Mustang, OK and Bob and Kathi Piersall of Conroe, TX, sister Reneigh (Steve) Johnson of The Woodlands, TX, nephew, Zachary (Ashlyn) Johnson of Willis, TX, niece McKenzie (Bryan) Fortine, great-nephew Julien Fortine, and great-niece Lillian Fortine of Magnolia, TX.
