Robert "Bob" Regelski, 89, passed away on May 22, 2026. Born on August 27, 1936, in Warren, Ohio, Robert built a life marked by steady devotion, quiet generosity, and the kind of hard work that shows itself most clearly in the people and communities it strengthens. He was a longtime resident of Conroe, Texas.
Robert graduated from Youngstown State University in 1960 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business. He also served in the National Guard in 1955, answering the call to serve with the same reliability and sense of duty that would define so much of his life.
For 25 years, Robert worked for Sherwin Williams, serving as a manager. Through decades of daily effort and leadership, he earned the respect of those who worked alongside him, approaching his responsibilities with diligence and a willingness to give of himself for the good of the team.
On November 20, 1965, Robert married Elaine, and together they celebrated 60 years of marriage. They raised two children, Daniel and Vikki, and later welcomed three grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, John and Victoria Regelski, and his siblings, John Regelski, Shirley Ruchinski, and Patricia Daugherty. He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Regelski of Conroe, TX; son, Daniel Regelski and wife Jennifer of Indianapolis, IN; daughter, Vikki Daniel and husband Jason of Conroe, TX; and grandchildren, Anna Regelski and Evan Regelski of Indianapolis, IN, and Jackson Daniel of Conroe, TX.
A man of faith and service, Robert was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and volunteered with H.O.S.T. (Help One Student to Succeed Program). He also gave his time as a coach for youth sports and as a substitute teacher—roles that reflected his belief in showing up, encouraging others, and investing patiently in the next generation.
Robert found joy in sports, faithfully cheering for the Cleveland Browns and the Guardians. He also enjoyed bowling and playing golf, pastimes that suited his steady spirit and appreciation for simple, well-earned pleasures.
