Rogelio E Rodriguez, 76, passed away on October 31, 2026. A longtime resident of Conroe, Texas, Rogelio—known to many as Roy—will be remembered with deep respect for the steady strength of his work ethic, the generosity of his spirit, and the quiet wisdom he offered in everyday moments. His humor could lighten a room, and his thoughtfulness showed in the way he looked after others, especially those who depended on him and those he chose to call family.
Born July 18, 1950, Roy carried a love for his ranch and the pride of being a cowboy, while also embracing the freedom of the open road as a biker back in the day—two sides of a life lived with grit, independence, and a ready smile.
Roy was dedicated to his company, Latino Plumbing, since 1988, serving the Montgomery County area since before that time. He took honest pride in his work and in the life he built through determination. With a 6th grade education, and not knowing how to read at first, Roy learned, persevered, and built a business—proof of a hardworking mind and a wise, unshakable resolve. He never truly retired; in his mind, he was still working, still building, still providing.
Roy was married to Lucy Wilson, he built a life anchored by loyalty, care, and the kind of generosity that is shown through presence and perseverance.
Roy is preceded in death by his daughter, Sylivia; mother, Juanita Rodriguez; father, Juan Rodriguez; brothers, Joe and Juan Rodriguez; sister, Mary Rodriguez; nephew, Domingo; first wife, Maria Rodriguez.
