Samuel B. Marr Jr. was born on September 17, 1945 in Houston, Tx. to Samuel and Doris Marr Sr , and passed away in Houston on December 7, 2012 at the age of 67. He served his country as a US Marine from 1966 to 1972. He was school photographer for Provine School Photography. He photographed numerous children in the Conroe ISD, Montgomery ISD, and the Tomball ISD. He is survived by his wife Linda Marr of Montgomery, Tx., by his daughters: Beth Blair Duhon of Spring, Tx., and Rhonda Walkup of Conroe, Tx., and by his sons: Rocky Blair and wife Rachel of Savannah, Ga., and Brent Walkup of Kerrville, Tx. He is also survived by his three grandsons: Cory Duhon, Casy Duhon, and Nolland Blair. Visitation will be Sunday December 9, 2012 from 4-6 pm at Cashner Colonial Chapel in Conroe. Funeral Service will be Monday December 10, 2012 at 10:00 am in the Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor Alan Clayton as officiant. Burial will follow in the Garden Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Loyo Miller, Glen Butler, Walter Jett, Mike Phythian, Cory Duhon and Casy Duhon. Honorary Pallbearer Nolland Blair.
