Sara Jane Hagan

September 12, 1938March 20, 2020

Sara Jane Hagan, 81, of Conroe passed away Friday, March 20, 2020. She was born September 12, 1938, in Battle Creek, Michigan to Thomas and Glendon Stevenson.

Sara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold James Hagan, in 2014. She is survived by her son Stephen Christopher Hagan and wife Tanya, her daughter Jennifer Hagan Broussard and brother Harry Stevenson.

Sara was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a proud, patriotic American who stood for the National Anthem whenever it was played.

Honey Girl, who never met a stranger, was a dedicated friend and mother. She lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures of antiquing, working in her yard, hosting fabulous dinner parties for all her friends and playing golf, where she holds the family record for three holes-in-one.

Sara had a big heart and could and would do anything for anyone. She was well-loved by anyone who met her, and leaves behind many friends who cherished their time with her. She always provided laughter and made others feel important.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or your local animal shelter.

A private graveside service will be held.

A celebration of Sara's life will be planned for a later date.

I work with Jennifer and only knew Mrs. Hagen thru Jennifer sharing. We have laughed and enjoyed many of her activities. She enjoyed dancing, have seen some short videos, and family gatherings where much cooking and baking occurred.
Our love and prayers go out to the family for their change in seasons.
She was, without issue, a person full of energy, life, and love.....Michael H

Jennifer and Chris so sorry to hear about your mom, while I didn’t get to spend much time with her I did live her life thru Jennifer for the past 29 years. She was a dear caring lady and loved her family and lived life to the fullest. May our Heavenly Father wrap his loving arms around you and the family, giving peace in your heart 💜 as you go thru this time if sorrow.
