Sarah Ann Hillock Jones passed away peacefully on July 22, 2011. She was born in Tipton County Indiana to John Jefferson and Aultie Woods Hillock on February 8, 1921. She is preceded in death by her husband Burley B. Jones, they were married December 19, 1969 in El Paso, Texas. She is survived by her son James Bolds and wife Victoria, of Montgomery, Texas; grandchildren, James and Jennifer Bolds of Piscataway, NJ; granddaughter Michele Bolds; great grandchildren, 7 yr. old Gabriella and 6 yr. old Micah Bolds.
Sarah enjoyed sewing and worshiping at Cornerstone Assembly of God. During WWII she worked in the assembly of the B-25 aircraft. Afterwards she managed a cleaner’s call office for 25 years.
Visitation will be held at Metcalf Funeral Directors on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a Celebration of Remembrance from 7:00 – 7:30. Her final resting place will be next to her husband in Hornbeck, LA.
