Shari Funderburg

Shari Schoppe Funderburg, of Conroe, Texas went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. She was born on December 10, 1950 in Brenham, Texas. Shari is preceded in death by her parents, Bobbie and Billie Jean Schoppe of Somerville, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, David Funderburg; her daughter, Amy Funderburg Craig, son-in-law, Nobel, and grandchildren Grayson and Hope of Pflugerville, Texas; daughter, Carey Funderburg Peterson, son-in-law, William, and grandchildren, James and Cole of Bothell, Washington; her brother, Jeff Schoppe; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Shari was a dedicated teacher for 22 years, teaching at Sam Houston Elementary. She was a devoted member at Conroe Bible Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends. She will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Conroe Bible Church, located at 4491 I45 North, Conroe, TX 77302, officiated by Pastor David Schneider.
