Sue Ann Marsh, 73 of Conroe passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023. She will be laid to rest in Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe on Saturday, July 29th at 10:00 a.m.
Sue was born December 5, 1949 in Marshall, Texas to Orman and Della Marsh. She grew up in Woodville with her parents, brother and sister. Once she had graduated from Woodville High School Sue pursued higher education; receiving her Bachelor degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and her Master’s degree in education from Sam Houston State University. She started her teaching career in Dickinson, TX, but soon moved to Conroe ISD where she remained until retirement in 2006 over 30 years later. During those years she helped many special needs children learn and grow and reach their full potential. She was very involved with Special Olympics and she helped develop books for children with Roadrunner Press. Her hobbies included shopping, gift giving and traveling. Sue was a member of the Noon Lions Club and even served as its President.
She was preceded in death by her parents Orman and Della, and brother in law, Rex Moon. Sue is survived by her brother Floyd Marsh of Navasota, TX, sister Joy Moon of Frisco, TX, nephew Matthew Moon and wife Jessica and their children Ava and Darcy of Frisco, TX, and numerous extended family and many caring friends and neighbors.
