Susan attended Baylor University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She began her nursing career in labor and delivery at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas and went on to be head of that department. After many years working as a nurse she was asked to join the legal team as their nurse paralegal. Susan devoted her later years caring for both her mother and father there in Spring.
She was a devout Christian and made her profession of faith at a young age.
She is preceded in death by her parents Douglas and Bettye Henry and her brother-in-law, Bill Corley. She is survived by her sister Ann Landrum (husband Gerry), sister Phyllis Corley, and brother Steven Henry (wife Lynda).
A private graveside service will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas.
