Theodore was born on March 24, 1946 to Dan and Alice Ambrose in Pittsburgh, PA. Theodore loved his family and friends. His weekly grocery store trips with his daughters was always a highlight. He would stop and talk to everyone he passed. He was an avid collector of model trains. He would spend hours building whole towns and would include a replica of his auto sales shop. He and his brother Greg would travel to the train expos around Pennsylvania collecting rare trains. His other joy was fixing and selling classic cars.
Theodore is survived by his daughters Stephanie Fischer, Gina Hancock, and Lisa McLaughlin (Brian), grandchildren Taylor Lowry, Lauren Hancock, Landon Hancock, Jordan Hancock, Delana Henley, and Austin McLaughlin, two great grandchildren, and his brothers Greg Ambrose and Rose Ambrose, Danny Ambrose and niece Michelle Ambrose and nephew Josh Ambrose and nephew Daniel Ambrose. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Danny Ambrose, and his son-in-laws, David Fischer and Rob Hancock.
Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Cashner Funeral Home with burial to follow at Garden Park Cemetery.
