Beloved son and brother, passed away in his sleep the morning of Wednesday August 22, 2018 at his residence in Spring, TX. He was 28 years old.
He was born on September 16, 1989 in White Plains, NY. He is survived by his parents Dean and Patti Tsagaris and his sister Alexia Tsagaris.
Teddy attended John Jay High School in Cross River, NY while the Tsagaris family was living in Katonah, NY. He then received his undergraduate degree in Maritime shipping from State University of New York Maritime College located in Bronx, NY.
After his parents relocated from NY to the Houston area, Teddy held roles in operations and logistics at the Mid-Ship Group located in Houston. He then moved to Louisiana after accepting a role transfer where he lived for two years. He then moved back to Texas and made his residence in Harris County where he was accepted as a candidate into the Houston Police Department.
Teddy’s passion for helping others led him to his involvement in the search and rescue team with the Lone Star Task Force. He also became certified as a personal protection officer. Teddy also was a lifetime member of ProSwing baseball clinic and training facility located in Mt. Kisco, NY where he spent much of his childhood playing and coaching baseball.
Teddy’s love of people, his passion for life, and positivity will always remain a light that will be cherished by his family and friends forever.
