Theron Charles Chauvin, Jr., 77, was born on April 15, 1944 in Thibodaux, Louisiana to the late Vivian M. Templet Chauvin and the lateTheron C. Chauvin, Sr. He passed away on August 30, 2021.

Theron proudly served as a combat medic with the 1st Air Cavalry with the US Army. He is a long time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Conroe, Texas, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and The Legion of Mary.

He enjoyed vegetable and fruit tree gardening. He also took delight in game hunting and spending time at his daughter's family's farm.

He was the loving husband of Barbara Mesenbrink Chauvin; loving father to Lynette Laehu (Joe), Sharon Danley (David), Rachel Chauvin, and Roxann Trinidad (Felix). He was the loving brother of Iris Vance (Johnny), Linda Dominick, Vera Falgout (Reese), Elvia Chauvin, Preston Chauvin, and Marcell Chauvin (Marissa). He was the loving grandfather of Kyle, Kory, Kaden, Courtney Austin, Damian, Julian, and Vania; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends, who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 beginning at 9:00am. A Rosary will be held at 9:30am and the Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00am. All services will be held at Sacred Heart in Conroe, Texas. The funeral Mass will be live streamed on the the church's website for those that are unable to attend in person, Shconroe.org.

Following the mass there will be a graveside service at Houston National Cemetery at 1:15pm.
