Thomas L. Neitzel, born on November 6, 1954, passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 70. He was Tom to his brother, wife and friends, Daddy to his Children, Uncle Tom to his nieces and nephews, and PopPop to his grandchildren.
Hardly ever seen without a Packers hat, Tom was always ready with a warm hug, a hardy handshake, or a helping hand. Starting out in the Army, he then went on to devote 33 years to Borden’s Dairy where he spearheaded their local cookoff team that participated around the state. Tom ended his career as a devoted bus driver to Special Needs students for Conroe ISD; the kids of which became his true passion.
Tom is survived by his wife Barbara of 52 loving years; their three children and spouses with six grandchildren; as well as his brother and wife; nephew, his wife, and children; and niece.
A visitation for Thomas will be held Monday, July 28, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303.
A celebration of Thomas's life will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at the VFW Post 4709, located at 1303 W Semands Ave, Conroe, TX 77301.
