Uncle Tommy-
You were one of my favorite people in this whole wide world. It didn’t matter how long time would go between visits (you being in Texas and me being in Michigan) but we always picked right up where we left off like no time had went by. I will miss you more than anyone will know. You lit up a room when you walked in, you put everyone at ease that you met and you had an amazing sense of humor. The connection with my kids was one that I’ve never seen (especially with Maddie) and the laughs we had when you visited will never be forgotten. I will miss your Christmas cards that I enjoy seeing and our birthdays so close together, sending you school pics of the girls and mom video calling so you could laugh at Steve pulling them around the flooded yard like they were boating! I know you fought hard to the end and I know you are with  God. I will always love you and am so glad you are my Uncle. Rest easy Marine, you did your job. XOXO ❤️

I’m going to miss Tom Ward very much, but I think the thing I’ll miss most is his sense of humor. A lot of the guys around the shop had stories and jokes, but Tom’s always always ended with a punch line. I started working with Tom back in 2012 at MW aircraft Services and I always enjoyed working with him. He amongst my other co-workers taught me so much and I’ll never forget the lessons passed down, I was very lucky to spend those years with Tom working by his side. I’ll always remember the first job I ever did with Tom at the hangar, safetying prop bolts on an MU2 and being so frustrated just for Tom to come over and teach me a very important lesson on using the right tool for the job. I will miss you Tom and I promise to always talk about you and the guys at hangar 10 to everyone I meet in aviation as life goes on. Rest easy and know you’ll be missed by many. 

I met Tom when I  joined Garrett Aviation in the late eighties.  At first Tom was just another guy I worked with.  One day Tom was talking about putting a sprinkler system in his yard, I had experience with installing sprinklers so he asked me to help and Idid. That was the beginning of a friendship that lasted . He is still my best friend.  We went boating together, traveled together, worked together, and of course, drank a lot of beer together. I could talk with him about things that I would not say to anyone else and new he would keep it to himself. He was a friend of the highest caliber and I miss him greatly.

Tom was one of my Dad's best friends who became basically a member of the family over the years, spending many a Christmas and Thanksgiving with us.   I'll always remember him for his love of cars, boats,  and airplanes in addition to his distrust of our old family dog Sabre, who would scare Tom half to death when he'd come.  Tom and I spent countless hours water skiing up and down Lake Conroe in the 90's, which always annoyed my mother who wanted to relax in the sun.  Thanks for all the good memories Tom, you'll be missed. 

I'm  so grateful for the times we shared together Tom!  You always treated me like a sister and I'm going to miss you lots!  I'm so glad you were able to make it "up north" for a few days and go out on the boat with all of us.  Your generosity, kindness and friendship  will always be in my heart.  Thanks for the love and laughs we shared.  I will see you again, that I am sure!  I praise God for His faithfulness through your journey.  You were a true soldier to the end!  Go Marines!  Love you brother!

For me this is a very sad occasion that will take some time to get over. I met Tom at Heliflight Systems in Conroe, TX in 1979. We were in the paint shop at the time. I noticed this new employee. This was his first day there.  I don't know what it was but he looked like someone that I could like and would be friends with. I went over and introduced myself. We hit it off at once. Over the next 41 years we had our ups and downs but I must say I Loved Tom Ward and he was the best friend I ever had. He will be sadly missed by Many friends and co-workers. 

Tom and I have been friends for over 39 years, we met when me and my family Emigrated in 1981 and I worked for Heliflight Systems in Conroe Texas. We worked together on the same crew until we were both promoted to Crew Chiefs. 
We hit it off instantly, Tom being an Ex Marine and me an Ex Fleet Air Arm Mechanic working with The British Royal Marine Commandos, in the last four years of my service.When Heliflight closed down, I believe around 1984, we both went to work together for the Parent Company Airlogistics over in New Iberia, Louisiana. That’s where the mosquito’s are big enough to put a saddle on, along with lots of ugly creatures that crawl across the hangar floor after dark. 
There we worked a week on and a week off and car pooled every other week. Which was when I got to ride in Tom’s pride and joy A Yellow Corvette. 
In Louisiana we not only worked together we shared a Company Apartment every other week. Even when we left the Company and went our separate ways work wise, we have always stayed in touch. Most weekends we would go boating and water skiing on Lake Conroe or visit our friends Charlie and Linda Scholl who lived on the Lake. 
Tom had a Yellow boat, come to think about it we did as well, but my favourite colour is not Yellow it is Blue. 
After all these years of being friends, during our Retirement we end up working at the same airport we met, so many years ago. 
We both came to Contract for an old friend Bob Weimert of MW Aircraft Services. 
Tom like me, has loved to work on Aircraft his whole life. He  will be sadly missed in the Industry.

I remember Tom was a volunteer fireman when we lived in Surf City, North Carolina. He had a passion for helping people and was extremely well liked.

Tom was much younger than me.  I always thought he was so beautiful.  When I saw him after years of not seeing  him, he talked to me like an old friend.   Rest in Peace,Tommy.   Love you.     Tell Greg and Baba that I said hi.           Love Martha (fafa)
