Vera Inez Vasek was born December 3, 1923 and passed away September 15, 2015 at the age of 91. She worked at the Montgomery County Library for a few years going out to area schools on the book mobile. She received her teaching certification from Sam Houston State in 1967 and taught second grade for 20 years at Runyan Elementary. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Vasek, Sr, and by son in law Leonard Tolliver. She is survived by her daughter, Marie Tolliver of Conroe, son, Joe Vasek, Jr and wife Gail of Round Rock; grandson, David Mitchell and wife Katie and great grandsons, Liam and Ronin Mitchell of The Woodlands. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 18, 2015 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor Cynthia Hinson officiating.
