After retiring from the Air Force in 1970 Vern went to work for Liquid Air in Houston, Texas where Vern and Alice lived for many years. Vern and Alice spent many happy years together they both loved to hunt, fish, travel and of course gamble together. They both loved family and adored their grandchildren.
After retiring from Liquid Air, Vern went to work for Houston Memorial as a private nurse where he cared for many patients. Vern loved and cared for Alice for many years with Parkinson’s until the day she passed. 1 year after Alice passed Vern married Mary Lou Blanck. Vern again loved and cared for Mary Lou with her bout with Alzheimer’s for many years. We would love to thank the staff of Sunrise Senior Care Home and Alamo Hospice for the loving care of Vernon.
