Vic and I were in High School together, and he was such a great guy. I really liked him, and I extend my condolences to Carmen and the family of Vic.

I had the great pleasure of working with Vic for about the last 12 years. If I ever needed a laugh all it took was a call or e-mail from Vic. God truly broke the mold after he made Vic LaRocca. I never met his family, but he loved to talk about them, it was Vic's favorite thing to do and he obviously loved them dearly. The world will be a little less fun without Vic, I will miss him. I meant to find out when and where services were going to be held.  I really had planned on being with you that day.  Yes, there is a "but" coming....the Thanksgiving holidays engulfed me with depression of my own loss last year and I became completely oblivious to others' suffering.  Even though I am still in this cacoon, it's no excuse, and I know that thinking of others would probably help me.   I feel so ashamed of myself now after seeing your post about this memorial.  Please forgive me.  I love you both.

I regret never having met Vic but enjoyed the time I had to know him on the radio. I will pray for his family and will miss that Crazy Coot on 3840 in the mornings.

Our family had the pleasure of meeting Vic and Leann while they were on vacation in Branson Missouri. He was always gracious toward our little group, and our children so much enjoyed playing with their grandchildren that they came back for a second visit the following year. Vic was gracious in that his desire was to support his family and friends in whatever adventure they decided to explore. I remember so many times his bragging about his two little grand-daughters and how special they were to him. Ann and I will always have fond memories of his morning conversations while we sat sipping our coffee. He has left his mark on the Karako family and we will miss him.

He will be greatly missed. His love for his family always warmed my heart. My love and prayers go out to them, especially Raelyn.

I regret not having met you when I had the chance and feel the years we spent talking and arguing on the radio were just not enough. My prayers are with your family and I will miss you, the guy with the Crap Crap D#%do antenna. N6AQ

Vic was a wonderful companion at the barn for me, while we watched my daughter and his grandaughters ride. He had the best stories and insight on life. He had a heart of gold.  I learned a lot from him. And we laughed quite a bit, too. I loved to give him a hard time. He had the best sense of humor. His family is very loving and always had a smile and a laugh. I will truly miss the old guy. He was one of those few people you meet in life that will stay with you in your heart. My sincere condolences to his entire family.

Vic was a wonderful man and a great neighbor.  We will miss seeing him on his golf cart in the neighborhood and with his family.  We feel fortunate to have known him.

Unbeknownst to most of the world, we have lost a master and legend of salesmanship!! Not only was he a good salesman in his job, but in his life as well. His tongue-in-cheek quote, to those of us who worked closely with him, was "The Customer Is the Enemy." But, ask anyone who he dealt with Vic, and they will tell you that he said what he meant and he meant what he said. With him, what you saw was what you got... nothing more; nothing less. Rest In Peace My Dear Friend, Vic!!! I know that I will miss you, but will be seeing you again someday!!

I remember Vic as being a kind and loving man. One of my favorite memories was from when I was a very young girl. He took me on my first airplane ride in his personal plane. The best and scariest part was when he let go of the controls and let me fly it. That day was more than 40 years ago and has remained one of my fondest childhood memories.
