Funeral services for Walter Albert Pennington will be held Wednesday, August 14 at 3:00pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Mr. Bill Nash officiating. Burial will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Walter was born March 19, 1916 in Warren, Texas to Walter and Molly Pennington and passed away August 10, 2013 in Houston, Texas. Walter was a member of Masonic Lodge 748 in Conroe, Texas for 60 years and a 60 year member of Union 211 of Houston and a member of Mims Baptist Church. Walter is survived by his loving wife of 74years, Ruby Pennington; daughter, Susann Pennington of Houston; sister, Mary Jane Kellum of Houston; grandchildren, Jeffery Michael Barnes and Monica Joy Barnes Curtsinger; great grandchildren, Cullen Chase Curtsinger and Chandler Caroline Curtsinger. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive. Pallbearers will be, Cullen Curtsinger, Donnie Freeman, Sonny Pennington, Barry Pennington, Travis Brown and Royce Brown.
