

Wesley J. Brown was born on April 10, 1934 in San Saba, Texas. He passed away on December 3, 2013 at the age of 79. He grew up in Brady, Texas and moved to Meeteetse, Wyoming. There he met the love of his life, Carol J. Brown. They married on June 2, 1957 in Brush, Colorado. He worked most of his his life in the oil industry, which led to many moves across several states before eventually relocating to Willis, Texas. He and Carol lived in Willis for 36 years and were married for a wonderful 56. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Joe Brown; his sister and brother in law, Lily Ruth and Johnny Willingham; his nephew, James Willingham; and his mother and father in law, Otis and Edna Ludgate. He is survived by his wife, Carol J. Brown; his son, Wesley Dean (Michelle); two daughters Sharyl and Leann; seven grandchildren: Summer, Joey, Hyacinth, Forest, Karen, Sarah, and Samuel; and one great grandchild, Hope. Brother in law Gary (Georgia) Ludgate. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations be made to Heart to Heart Hospice of The Woodlands, Texas:
