William “Bill” C. Ferguson, 90, went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2016. He was born in Flippin, Arkansas on October 5, 1925 to Charlie Floyd and Emma Mae Ferguson. Bill served in the Army and was a Word War II Purple Heart veteran. He was a worker in the Lord’s Army and was a man of strong faith. He left his love for the Lord with his family. Bill is preceded in death by his parents Charlie Floyd and Emma Mae Ferguson and his son William Ferguson Jr. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Leatherwood Ferguson; daughters, Trena Benson and Sandy Jones; brothers, Bobby, Billy and Ira Ferguson; sister, Ruth Richards. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday evening, July 21, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Rd., Conroe, TX. The funeral service will be on Friday, July 22, 2016 at The Conroe Church of Christ beginning at 10:00 am. The final resting place will be in the San Jacinto Memorial Cemetery beginning at 2:00 pm.
