William D. Brannen, 30, of Searcy, AR, passed away surrounded by family on October 28, 2025. Born on May 2, 1995, in Birmingham, AL, Will was a devoted son of God beloved by his friends and family. After graduating from Harding University, Will earned a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry and has been awarded an honorary Master of Divinity. He is a three-time published author and a devout student of the word. Will was known for his witty remarks, gentle spirit, and unshakable faith.
Will is survived by his parents, Mark and Joyce Brannen, his sister, Hannah and her husband Josh, and his dog, Erin. His calling in life was to teach and educate the next generation of church leaders. Will’s greatest ministry was how he lived his life with abundant joy and peace in the midst of great physical struggles.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 11:00am at Bammel Church of Christ (2700 Cypress Creek Pkwy, Houston, Texas, 77068) with visitation being held one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in Garden Park Cemetery at 2:30pm (801 Teas Rd, Conroe, Texas, 77303). Donations can be made in his honor to Harding Place Christian Ministries (801 South Benton, Searcy, AR 72143).
