Although the miles separated us Bill will always be in my heart.  He was a great man. Im just remembering the card games we played. He never got mad when Beth and I cheated. Sending my love to you all 

There are not many people you can call a true friend, but Bill Sowden was a special person.   I enjoyed golfing with him, although I could never beat him.  Him and Beth were special people in my life. Although they  were far from Calif., he alwaysmanaged a phone call at least once  a week to see how I was doing and I always looked forward to seeing him when he came down. Bill, you will always be a special person in my life.God bless you and rest in peace. Bill, see you when I get there. Untill then you will never be forgotten. Beth, our most heartfelt feelings for you and the kids as you know how Elisa and myself  wish you the best.

A friend since 1959 and God Father of my oldest daughter. Bill was a good friend, a good husband, a good father, and a good man. Rest in peace.
