He is survived by his wife, Joan; his daughters, Kathy and Karen; Karen’s boyfriend, Tim, and his children; Danielle Potts and her husband, Drew, and their children, Olivia, Madeline, and Colin; Shannon McGowan and her husband, Matt, and their children, Jack and James; TJ McGriff and his children, Harper, Riley, and Daniel; grandson, Dakota Walker and his wife, Kenzie, and their son, Easton; granddaughter, Zoey Walker and her fiancé, Trenton Cress; his six sisters and their spouses; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Billy Walker; his brother, Henry Walker; his parents, Bill Walker and Susie Woolsey.
Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303,on October 7, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place in Cashner Colonial Hall, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303, on October 8, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Graveside will follow in Garden Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dakota Walker, Trenton Cress, Clifton Cadle, Deven Cusack, Paul Bryan, JR Flatt, David Walker, and Toby Gilmore, with Travis Nuchia serving as an honorary pallbearer.
