I didn't know about Zane's passing until just recently. Zane was my driller on many environmental and geotechnical projects through the years. He was a good driller, hard working and always dependable, but most importantly, he was a true gentleman, always a joy to work with every day. He had a kind and pleasant disposition that everyone admired. I recall that we had a special connection because we were nearly the same age.

Today I send my condolences to all of Zane's family and friends and all those who loved him. And I will keep good memories of Zane with me always.

Blessings to all,
Peter Shiman

I worked with zane for years at custom coring i loved my man and I am sorry Loretta I didn't know he passed away I tried many times to get in touch this is Kevin the yankee that worked for mir with zane he was a great guy and you were a beautiful woman hope you remember me.

Zane and I were close for not knowing each other but a couple of years. He always made me feel like family everytime we spoke. We had a great bond and understanding for each other. He truly loved my son Chase and told me Chase was like his son he never had. We will miss him greatly but never forgotten. Wish we could of spent more time with him he was always fun to be around. I feel people come into your life for a reason and he was truly one of those people.

I just cant believe that Zane in gone. I am so sorry and my prayers are with his family. He was a very special guy. Husband to one of my best friends for 20+years, Loretta. I cant believe that they are both gone. The one thing about Zane that always touched me was how much he loved his family and he would tell you that. He was always fun to be with and had such a good outlook on things. Loretta was so lucky to have found such a great man. I know he will very missed but always remembered.

I really don't know where to start. This is such a shock to me. I loved my Uncle Zane so much and he was such a great person. He was always there for me when I needed him to be. He had such great advice for me while I was growing up and trying to find my way. I'll never forget you and I hope you are at peace now and watching over us with Aunt Loretta. I will do my best to help take care of Christine through this rough time. R.I.P Uncle Zane, I miss you everyday.

I am so sorry for your families loss. You all are in my prayers as I know this is so hard what you all are going through. Look Lynn up in Heaven Zane and you two catch up.

My thoughts and prayers are with Zane's family. I am saddened to hear about Zane's passing. When I was growning up Zane was like a brother to my sister, brother and myself. I remember playing in the gameroom upstairs and Zane playing music we would all jam too and his beautiful smile. I remember riding in his black Z-28 ( I think that was what it was)in Ulvade, Texas. Then he took us into town and we had a blast. We shared many good times. But we always loved Zane, just sad we lost touch. Thank you for the good times Zane. You will be missed and remembered always.
Larry, Denise and Dea

We were so sorry to hear about Zane and if we had known we most certainly would have attended the funeral. We remember Zane well. When he was
13 years old he played baseball for me. Zane was a good ball player but
was very quiet. He just always did as he was told and it was a pleasure to
coach him. Don and Annette Highley

My prayers are with you. Zane came into my life 10 months after I lost my Mama & filled a void she left. I would not take anything for the 51 years I have loved & cuddled him. He is not suffering anymore & I just want to say "So long, see ya' later"

Words seem inadequate to express the sadness I feel about Zane's passing. May your heart and soul find peace and comfort. With sincere sympathy,

Doris, we are still praying for you and all of your family. I also pray that Wally has a strong recovery. I know the hard days aren't over but your Faith and love are what will carry all of you through. I hope that soon we can make a trip to see you all, I know the boys love to visit their Papa Chad's family!

My prayers are with the family. I didn't know Zane only by just a wave when he would pick up or drop my daughter off after she spent time with his beautiful daughter Christine. But I did want to pass on my condolences to his parents and his daughter for this tough time. My prayers will be with you.

Good Bye bring brother! I am sorry we could not be there today. Rest in peace, Love, Amy, Matt, Hans and Aunna

Zane your Mom is writing this for me. I am so sorry that I cannot be with your Mom and Christine during this difficult time. You and I always took care of her. I will miss you man...you are my buddy. I will never forget you and the good times we spent together for 24 years. Remember..and it burns, burns, burns, the ring of fire. We used to sing that with Johnny Cash. I love you Zane

I really don't know what to say, other than I'll miss you. You were always looking out for your little brother, Chad. Now that you're no longer with us in body you will always remain with us in spirit. That they can never take away from us. Rest in peace knowing that you're mother, stepfather and brothers will always be there for your little girl. Your passing comes to soon, and leaves an empty space in everyone's heart, that you touched. Go in peace my friend.

The sadness of knowing that Zane is no longer with us here on earth is overwhelming. It seems like only yesterday that we were all playing darts and having good times, building memories that will help during these difficult days. To Chad, Christine and the entire family, may you find peace in knowing that Zane was loved by so many. I will truly miss him.

Doris - My sympathy goes out to all your family. I remember the ballgames
Zane & Monte participated in. Joanna
and I often talk of the ballplaying
boys at Melrose. I am sending you all my love and asking God to comfort you
and your family.

Zane:
Although your passing was sudden and all too soon, your life here on earth touched many, many hearts. Your legacy will live in our hearts forver. I have fond and funny memories of you over the last 23 years of my life. You watched me grow from a child into a mother, just as I have been able to watch Christine grow up. I just never thought when I saw you on Friday, it would be for the last time...until we meet again. I love you, brother!!

Christine, I have watched you grow into such a beautiful young lady. I have been amazed at your strength and determination. And now I hold you in my prayers and thoughts as you go through this very difficult time. Remember you are not alone. You are surrounded by loving friends and family. May the lord watch over you and comfort you.

Doris & Family. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Very sorry for your loss.

Uncle Zane was the greatest and most caring person. He loved everyone and enjoyed life to the fullest. You will always live on in our hearts. I will always love you and miss you. <3

I don't know where to start. You were not only my Brother but also my Best Friend. You were always there for me as I was there for you through all the past heartaches and trials. God decided you needed to be with your wife so both of you can watch your beautiful daughter blossom and grow together. She will be surrounded with love and well taken care of. Now you and "our" Dad will be able to get in that fishing time you so much wanted with him. I love you Zanester and I will miss you dearly.
Your best buddy, Chadba

'Cause I'm as FREE as a BIRD, now. And Lord knows I can't Change"

Zane - you will be truly missed by your family as this is still a shock to us all. My prayers go to Doris and Christine and my Dad as I send my sympathy your way. We wish time spent with those we love could last forever and in our hearts it will. Words could never express all the sympathy felt for you in the loss of Zane, may it help to know that many thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May you see God in the faces of family and friends, hear him in their voices, feel him in the touch of their hands - God Bless!! Zane always brought joy around wherever he was. Love, Christi Rocka

I havent been in the family but 9 years but you always told me you were so glad you brother found me. Yes i will love and take care of him. You will be missed. You were so loved by many.

Zane - We will miss you. This has been such a shock to the entire family. I pray your mom and Christina will be alright. Shelly

It's hard to say goodbye to such a kind and caring person. Zane was the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back. It has been an honor to have been his sister-in-law for almost 36 years. I will miss you and never forget you. R.I.P.

We were so shocked and saddened by your family's loss. We pray for their peace and we pray for Christina, who has lost so much, so young. May God bless and comfort you all.

The flame will never die and I will hold you in my heart forever.

I miss you my Zane, You were so good to me and I will treasure your memory and love forever.
