Maia, Ana, 97, of Margate, passed away March 16, 2012. Ana was born September 17,1914 in Farias, M.G., Brazil to the late Antonio Costa and Vitalina Sores Oliviera Maia. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Marilia (Andrew) Gadry, Maria Jose (Helio) Piers, Maria C. (Peter) Supple, Maria E. (Jeffrey) Rogan, Ana (Brian) Penick, son, Geraldo Maia, 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and sister, Antonia Maia. The family will receive friends Friday, March 23, 2012, 4:00 - 8:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 24, 2012, 10:00am at Our Lady, Queen of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 1500 South State Road 7, North Lauderdale.
