Mom Stanziale - 

You reminded me so very much of my own amazing mother - small in stature, but enormous in spirit and vitality.  You both put your families first, and taught your children and grandchildren, and so many other friends and family members not just by words, but by the examples of your own commitments, priorities, choices, and by the way that you both lived your lives.  You welcomed me into your family from the first time that we met, and I am honored to be a part of the Stanziale clan.  Your legacy will continue through the memories and traditions carried forward by all of the family members who loved you completely.

I don't know how to live in a world without you. Every rule I've been taught, every lesson I learned, every happy memory I have, and tradition I follow has come from you. You were a vibrant, energetic light in everyone's lives. You were made entirely of love and loved us to the fullest. There's no better role model to have than you, though living up to the incredibly strong person you were seems impossible. To live in a world without your voice, without your love, and without your encouragement is unthinkable. Thank you for being there every step of the way and for making me who I am. You always told me to stay strong and to stay positive and for you I will try every day. I lived my life to always be there for you and I was until the end. For that, I have zero regrets. I told you every chance that I could, but one last time, I must say that I love you 100 million brazillians, 10 trillions, and more. Always and forever.

I can only confirm and reiterate what others have said about you. You we're My second mom, "Momma Ann", but of course your heart was so big, that many others have called you mom.  You are missed every day, especially the  "special you" that was before your conditions of disease took over, frustrating your indomitable energy and spirit. You have called me son and have welcomed me into your home. I have known you exactly as long as I have known your beautiful daughter, Diane, a superior care giver with an extremely sensitive, huge heart. Diane followed the best of you and you followed her best sense of sociability and cordiality. Your daughter never meets a stranger and in the several years I knew you, there was never a person,  new friend or old, that walked away without a happy/ funny story on their minds. You were the ultimate comfort giver with food, stories and laughter. But more than anything, I have learned so much more about your gracious legacy, carefully passed on to family and others. You appreciated my singing and It was a pleasure and my honor to sing your favorite songs. Likewise an honor to assist your daughter in caring for you with never a complaint from your lips. When my parents needed extreme care, you were always there with kind and encouraging words, along side your daughter - the best nurse on the planet. I'm sure that your dedicated caring for your daughter, through all her maladies, influenced her best sense of caring for everyone. My own mother has benefited from your friendship. You led a blessed life, with loving husband, son and daughter, grand and great-grandchildren. We will carry on the good memories of you as you are blessed in Heaven.

Gram, 
You were the one who loved us no matter what and gave us the strength to be who we are. You love supported us through all these years and your love will continue to support us for the rest of our lives. You gave so much to everyone and never ever asked for anything in return. You were the most selfless individual I have ever known and I strive everyday to be just like you. You were our world and taught us to be who we are and forever we will walk with the strength you gave us. I love you more than life itself and I will miss you everyday until I see you again.

A shining star, a special Lady blessed with an over abundance of love, wit, compassion and wisdom. Words cannot express my heartfelt thanks for being there during the dark time. You led me to see light. Till we meet again....you are with me

I've been so lucky to have been a part of your family for the past 13 years, and the way you've all welcomed Mom & I is a testament to the generousness and warmth your mother (grandmother) instilled in you. I'm so sorry for your loss, and am grateful to have known such a strong and kind lady!

Mom,
I am missing you every day. You were an inspiration to all of us. You loved life and showed us how to love it also. All the wonderful memories of parties and holidays, barbques and family and friends just dropping in. You were always so welcoming. I loved our long talks at night and on the phone and how much you enjoyed hearing about what everyone was up to in North Carolina.
I know you are happily with daddy and all your brothers and sisters. we will keep your light shining through us in everything we do. No matter what the issue, you always gave us the best advise which was to do the right thing. Our lives are your legacy and we are so proud to be able to say that. The best mom ever!!

Diane, I'm so sad that Aunt Ant is gone. I'll never forget her and her love of family. She spoke so highly of what you did for her "constantly" with the love you had for her and your dad. I am grieving for the loss of a family that held such great standards for family and love. I will never forget her, never and I will cherish our conversations always. So sorry for the loss. My mother was sharing stories about Antoinette yesterday and how she reminded her of her own mother (my grandmother). I am not sure if I ever met Antoinette (maybe when I was young), but I was told how amazing she was. More laughter is definitely in heaven now! God, good luck with all of the Italians sisters! Also thank you for allowing them to be in our lives!
