Words can never express the kindness loveable passionate person she was. She raised all 3 of us as her own. Never did she turn her back on anyone her door was always open. She touched so many lives. She taught me at the age of 15 how to become a mother to her best friend my daughter Judy. I'm so thankful for seeing her a couple months ago and she gave me a huge hug and told me she still loved me. She's a true Role Model and will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May you fly like an Angel now and keep your family safe. God gained another Angel. Will always love you.

Bea, you always had a hug and a kiss for me and I will miss those. You always had me send my brother a hug and kiss from you as well and I know he will also miss those. You will be sorely missed, but I take consolation that you are now watching over us from a much better place.

Lucky and I were shocked and deeply saddened when we received the news of Barbara's passing. We shared many wonderful times of warmth and laughter during our years together while we served the Florida State Firefighters Association and Firemen's Auxiliary. Those memories will be forever cherished. We extend our deepest sympathies to her family.

Doris and I have known Barbara since the 70s. Hearing of her passing has saddened both of us. She was always willing to jump in and work on fire department and fire organization project. Deepest sympathy to her entire family, and we will really miss her.

Being a Past President of the Florida State Firemen's Auxiliary, I've known Barbara for many years and have worked together for the betterment of the fire service and since early 1960's. I was impressed first to hear that she parked a fire truck in her yard and was a volunteer fireman and a member of the State Firemen's Association before she joined the Auxiliary. We became good friends as most in the fire service do. The last time I saw her, she and her daughter came to Avon Park for a surprise (to me) at the unveiling of a memorial brick type for firemen NOT killed in the line of duty. Barbara deserves a memorial brick at our memorial. I will miss you Barbara and will pray for your family. I know you'll join the 9/11 firemen and all our fireman friends in heaven.
