Brendan is survived by his wife, Beth McCarthy, of Parkland, Florida; his two young daughters, Keira and Riley McCarthy, of Parkland, Florida; his brother Adam and wife Maura McCarthy, of Los Angeles, California; and his sister, Meghan McCarthy of Boston, Massachusetts. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Mary McCarthy, of East Greenwich, Rhode Island.
Brendan was born on January 08, 1969 in Warwick, Rhode Island, to parents John and Mary McCarthy. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island with a degree in Political Science. He moved to sunny Florida and worked in sales at Fortinet for more than 15 years. Brendan was an amazing family man and a loving father. He married Beth MacCarthy in 2006 and the couple had two beautiful girls together and a house full of animals, including two cats Baby Kitty and Dottie as well as his faithful dog Buddy.
Brendan was a social, active man who was deeply involved in loving his fellow humans. He was full of life with a caring beautiful smile and a great sense of humor. His voice and laughter filled every room he entered and surrounded every person he met. Brendan enjoyed bike riding, long walks with his wife and dog, swimming and splashing in his pool, and was constantly laughing and telling stories. His family and friends will always remember him as a carefree, fun-loving person always willing to help or lend a hand to whomever he met. Everyone that met the silver fox immediately wanted to be surrounded by his words of encouragement and light. Brendan was one of a kind and his short life touched everyone that met him no matter how brief. He was the life of the party and spread positivity and life wherever he went. His beautiful silver head of hair will never be replaced, his famous dance moves, and his bright light was taken too soon. All that knew Brendan will never know a better human being and that spot in our hearts will never be replaced.
