Catherine A. Gilliss

Catherine A. Gilliss (nee Harting) of Coconut Creek, Florida passed away at the age of 80 on Monday, April 10, 2023. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Roy Gilliss, daughter Jodi Tarleton-Barwick and husband Scott Barwick, daughter Jill DeAngelis and her husband Jim DeAngelis. She is also survived by her grandsons, Tyler Tarleton and Kyle Tarleton, step-grandsons Dylan Barwick and Gavin Barwick, brother, Denny Harting and his wife Bonnie Harting, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Cathy and Roy retired early and moved from their home in Lansdowne, Maryland to Coconut Creek. They enjoyed their life together in Florida for the next 30 years, building long lasting friendships that shared their love of golf, bowling, racing and the Florida sunshine.

Donations may be made to St Jude in her honor.

A visitation for Catherine will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1655 N. University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071, followed by a celebration of life service at 4:00 PM.
