Cecilia Adami Maye

Cecilia is survived by her son, Frank Maye of Sebring, Floridas . She is preceded in death by Guiseppi Adami and Katherine Vaughn.

Cecilia was born on April 22, 1952 in Bronx, NY to Guiseppi Adami and Katherine Vaughn. She graduated from all girls Catholic School in Bronx, NY in 1970. That same year she married and moved to Florida. She had her one and only child, Frank Maye, in 1976. Cecilia spent most of her working years as a workmans comp adjustor and a paralegal. She was incredibly hard working, dedicated, honest, and friendly to all who had the pleasure of working with her over the years. Her son, Frank, remembers her as always encouraging him to pursue his goals and aspirations, not to mention making him feel like the most loved son on the planet.

Cecilia was a loving, caring, generous woman who had an OBSESSSION with Barry Manillow. She knew every word to every song, and went to almost every concert that he ever had in South Florida over the course of 40 years. She was an excellent writer, and an avid reader. She was an amazingly skilled typist (over 100 words/minute). She was an amazing single Mother, and an incredibly all around strong independent woman.

A visitation for Cecilia will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 9950 NW 29th St., Coral Springs, FL 33065.
