I first met Kathy on the first day of kindergarten for Joi and my daughter Rita. We brought our families together and have almost 40 years of wonderful memories of Parties, Holidays, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Parents, First Communions, Weddings, and just being together. Dear Chris was always the leader. He kept us together with his laughter, fun and his jokes. And boy could he dance! Do not remember ever seeing him really angry. He was a good man who was loving and generous to everyone. He adored and loved Kathy. He loved and protected Joi and Aimee. My husband Carl and I mourn his passing. Proud to have known Christ Lapi. Rest in peace dear friend. Love, Carl and Markay

I'm sure that many of us in Christ's family have this memory--of dancing on the tables at a Greek restaurant when we were in Florida for Christ's 60th birthday. So much fun, and there was so much food!
And I have lots of memories of Kathy and Christ gliding around different dance floors together, so gracefully!

Uncle Chris would enter the room and the energy changed. He always brought laughter and love to the many holidays and dinners we shared. He adored Aunt Cathy with a passionate kind of love. He was a good man and a great uncle. We will all miss him but carry him in our hearts forever. Boy could he dance! Until we meet again Uncle Chris!! Opa!!. .
