

Christopher is survived by his parents Elaine ( Ryan) Leclerc of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, his father Charles Leclerc of New Hampshire, his sister Patricia Jarret and brother-in-law Steven Jarret of Woonsocket, Rhode Island. He also leaves behind many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Christopher resided in Coral Springs, Florida with his loving wife Jennifer and his dog Sophie. He was born on July 17, 1966 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. He graduated from the University of South Florida in 1988. with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. He served as a Police Officer for one year in Tampa before moving to Boca Raton where he served as an officer and sergeant for the Boca Raton Police Department for 22 years, retiring in 2012. He served in a multitude of areas in the department including the detective bureau, joint terrorism task force and professional affairs.
Chris was an avid sports fan following the New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Boston Red Sox. He also enjoyed anything to do with fishing. His real passion was his love of Jesus Christ and being a devout catholic. He performed as a Eucharistic Minister at Mary Help of Christian's Church in Parkland, Florida. He also participated in the men's emaus group at St. Bonaventure Church in Davie.
A visitation is scheduled at Kraeer Margate Funeral Home, 1 North State Road 7, Margate, Florida from 4-7pm on Friday December 17, 2021.
A mass of Christian burial is scheduled for Saturday, December 18th at 11am at Mary Help of Christian's Catholic Church, 5980 N. University Dr. Parkland, Florida. Monsignor Hogan will be officiating, followed by burial at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
