Claire Louise Persichilli, 80 years young, of Coconut Creek, Florida, passed away on May 30, 2026. She was surrounded by her family and friends during her passing. She is now in Heaven, free of pain and at peace with her parents and loved ones who were waiting to greet her.
Claire was born in Pennsylvania, to Herman and Ida Mancini on April 2, 1946. She had one sister, two brothers, two children, and six grandchildren. Growing up in Ardmore, she attended Archbishop Pendergast Catholic High School for Girls before attending Immaculata University and Villanova University to pursue her studies in law.
Claire and her husband, John, started a successful title company before she went on to become a Director of Finance. True to her caring nature, throughout her career she helped students find jobs and manage their finances. She was active in a local chapter of the Sons of Italy, founded by her mother, Ida, and was involved in charitable work for the Cooley’s Anemia Foundation.
In retirement, Claire loved spending time with her children and, especially, her grandchildren. She took them to local playgrounds, swimming pools, indoor gaming centers, garage sales, farms, art activities, horse-riding lessons, and more. She loved attending all of their sporting events and was their biggest cheerleader. They truly made her heart smile and brought her immense joy.
Family was everything to Claire. She was the glue that held everyone together, always hosting holidays and birthdays and making sure the family stayed connected. Her laugh was contagious, and she had more energy than anyone could keep up with. She loved to dance (especially to Sinatra and Elvis), swim, spend time at the beach, travel to Philadelphia for the Penn Relays, and enjoy time with friends.
There wasn’t anything Claire wouldn’t do for others, especially those in need. She would give you the shirt off her back and treated everyone with kindness, compassion, and love, no matter who you were.
Words cannot express how deeply she is missed and how greatly she was loved by so many. Claire truly had a heart of gold.
We love you, Mom. You were the best mother, wife, sister, and Nana anyone could have. “Nano-space,” as your grandchildren lovingly called you, will forever hold a special place in our hearts. May you rest in peace knowing that you will always have ours.
Claire is survived by her son, Dante; her daughter, Claire; her brother, Armand; her sister, Louise; and her six grandchildren: Kirstin, Denise, Gianna, Ethan, Anthony, and Gabriel.
We love you, Nana.
