This is so sad, I grew up with Connie in Pine Island ridge a few apartments down from her. We would hang out together every day when we were kids. She was my first kiss and always had a place in my heart. 10 years ago she came back into my life, I was going through a bad break up and she reached out to me, we spoke on the phone every night and she always called me or text me to make sure I was ok...I will always remember that...she will always hold a big place in my heart.....

Mr and Mrs Ringersen: I was very saddened to learn this week of Connie's passing. While at the Salvation Army ARC in Philadelphia, I was Connie's volunteer mentor (and friend) . While there we usually met every week and she was able to share whatever was on her mind, talk about her future and we would pray together. After she left there, she did keep in touch. I am very sorry for your loss. Connie's laughter and joy lit up a room and her heart blessed me.

If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know. (beckymcgee@verizon.net) I will continue to pray for you and your family.
God bless you,
Becky McGee

I will never forget... we went to a Thai restaurant and we asked how to say “I love you” in Thai and she said “Chanracoon”. CHANRACOON to the moon and back Connie.

I can’t believe you’re gone. I have NEVER laughed with anyone the way I laughed with you. I remember the day we met, 33 years ago, like it was yesterday! We were in a modeling class at Burdines. It was the last class (the fashion show) and you were too shy to walk down the runway. I remember walking up to you and taking your hand and saying “Let’s go!!” And we walked down together. 😊😊 I would give ANYTHING to be able to take your hand again and walk down that runway. CHANRACOON!!!!

We grew up together. Did everything together. Drove to graduation singing She and I by Alabama. Connie was one of my best and oldest friends. We went to elementary school together. She was hysterical and real. I will love and miss her forever. Taco pizza, my hubcaps popping off stalking the boys, Seven Eleven at midnight, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, wake boarding, rubbing my cat on her face to get out of work!!! Still makes me smile. 😙😚❤❤❤❤💔💔💔💔😢😢😭😭There will be a permanent hole in my heart. Forever.
