Cosmo L. Chianchiano

Chianchiano, Cosmo L., 91, of Margate, passed away July 16, 2012. He was born October 5, 1920 in New York, New York to the late Gasper and Josephine (nee Riccobono) Chianchiano. He served his country honorably during WW II in the U.S. Army. Cosmo retired after many loyal years as a bus driver with the New York City Transit Authority. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 48 years, Ann (nee Mellusi) Chianchiano. Those left to cherish his memory are his adoring daughters, Joanne (David) Carver, Janet (Raymond) Giraitis, cherished grandchildren, Michael (Jessika) Arena Jr., Anthony Arena, Laura Arena and great grandson, Christopher Santiago. His sister, Teresa "Tessie" Leonard also survives him. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, 4:00 - 8:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 19, 2012, 10:00am at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 9950 NW 29th Street, Coral Springs. Entombment will immediately follow at Our Lady, Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 South State Road 7, North Lauderdale with military honors.
