Diana was born on April 2, 1989, in Boston, Massachusetts, to William and Lydia Viera. She grew up in Boston before moving to Florida in June 2009 to begin a new chapter of her life with the love of her life, Johnny Brief.
Diana and Johnny’s love story began in a unique and special way. The two met while playing Phantasy Star Universe on Xbox, forming a connection that quickly grew into something much greater. They began their relationship on January 9, 2009, and exactly seven years later, on January 9, 2016, they were married. Together, they shared nearly 18 years of love, laughter, friendship, and countless memories.
Diana worked as a server at Bagel Works in Boca Raton, Florida.
Diana was one of the most kind-hearted and loving people anyone could ever hope to meet. She had an extraordinary ability to put others before herself, always making sure the people around her were cared for, supported, and loved. She found happiness in making others happy and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to someone in need.
Known for her warm smile, friendly personality, and ability to light up any room, Diana left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her compassion extended to both people and animals, and she had a special passion for helping those who needed a little extra love.
An avid gamer, Diana found tremendous joy in video games, a passion that not only brought her happiness but also brought her and Johnny together. She also had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved dogs, Zack and Charlie, who were cherished members of her family.
Diana is survived by her loving husband, Johnny Brief; her parents, William and Lydia Viera; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Cindy Brief and Mark Ridings; her siblings, Jess and Willy Viera; her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Josh and Martina Brief and Erika Montanino; her beloved nieces and nephews, Sisi, Kayden, and Rylee; and many extended family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives were touched by her kindness.
A private celebration of Diana’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Diana’s memory to Big Dog Ranch Rescue, the organization that brought her beloved Charlie into her life.
Diana will forever be remembered for her beautiful heart, her unwavering love for others, and the happiness she brought into the lives of those around her. Though she is no longer physically with us, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
“I’ll love you forever and always.” — Johnny
