Doris (Hart) Lennon of Tamarac, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday May 24th, 2026. She was. 88 years old Doris was born on March 5, 1938 in South Boston, MA. Doris was the loving daughter of the late Joseph and Rebecca (Cleaveland) Hart. The loving wife of the late Joseph Lennon

She was the youngest of seven children. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ellen Ford of Wakefield, MA, Mildred Pierce of South Boston, MA, Ethel Winters of Wakefield, MA, Jean Vachon of Weymouth, MA, Joseph Hart of Hollywood, FL and William Hart of Dorchester, MA.

She was the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Doris was an operating room nurse at the Sancta Maria hospital in Cambridge, MA. She also practiced her profession in Tamarac, FL.

Doris was a devoted Parishioner at St Malachy Parish in Tamarac, FL attending Mass daily. It was at Church in 2003 that she met Rose. They both had just lost their husbands. They became best friends and enjoyed going on cruises and a trip to Las Vegas. They went to 8:30 Mass every morning and then went to the Orange Tree for breakfast and enjoyed talking to everyone who came in.

Doris had a beautiful smile and loved talking with everyone she met. She had a good sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. She always had a kind word for everyone.

A Mass will be held at St. Malachy Catholic Parish, 6200 N University Dr, Tamarac, FL 33321, US, on June 4, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
