Dorothy C. Carangi, born on May 17, 1930, in Newark, New Jersey, passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 95. She was a resident of Coconut Creek, Florida. Dorothy was a faithful and devoted individual, known for her gentle and thoughtful nature.
Dorothy was born to Anthony Sincavage and Mary Rendish, both of whom predeceased her. Her early life in Newark laid the foundation for a life marked by dedication and service.
She served as a secretary at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Fort Lauderdale, where her commitment and service were deeply valued.
Dorothy was married to John Carangi, who predeceased her. She is survived by her son, Darren Carangi, and daughter-in-law, Alicia Carangi. She leaves behind her granddaughter, Bethany Carangi, as well as her step-son, Mark Carangi, and step-daughter-in-law, Mary Carangi. Additionally, she is survived by her niece, Marla Carangi. Her brother, Bernard Sincavage, also predeceased her.
In her personal life, Dorothy was a lover of cats and enjoyed watching TV shows such as Law & Order, Blue Bloods, and the ETWN Catholic Network. She had a fondness for Italian food, chicken chow mein, and pierogies.
