O'Brien, Edward Clyde III, 72, of Tamarac, passed away May 19, 2018. Edward was born December 29, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Edward Clyde and Ruth Ann (Nelson) O'Brien Jr. He worked as a court mediator in Broward County for many years. He loved his job and he loved to read, especially the newspaper. He was a swimmer and ran marathons and even played the French horn. His favorite sports team was the Pittsburgh Stealers and he loved anything Pittsburgh related. Everyone called him "Eddie Spaghetti". Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 30 years, Marie Glaros, daughters, Suzanne (Rich) Gilson, Jennifer (Jerry) McClellan, Angela (Christian) Flores, sons, Andrew (Stella) O'Brien, Christopher (Leah) Parkinson, eleven grandchildren, sister, Pam Miller, brothers, Tom O'Brien, Bob (Polly) O'Brien, sister-in-law, Christine (Emmanuel) Paravalos, furry friend, Zoey and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 25, 2018, 4:00 - 8:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 26, 2018, 11:00am at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 6200 North University Drive, Tamarac. Interment to immediately follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
