Fred is survived by his wife, Tara Oliva; children, Dyane Oliva and Jason Craven; daughter-in-law, Jacqueline; grandchildren, Jace and Jemma.
Fred was born on November 16th, 1955 in Cranford, NJ to Ferdinand and Angelina Oliva. He graduated from Rutgers University in 1977 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He married Tara in 1998, welcoming her son, Jason, as his own. The following year, in 1999, the couple had a daughter, Dyane. His children remember him as a kind and patient father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.
Fred was an accomplished engineer and often worked on passion projects at home. He was a generous individual who loved to travel and who was passionate about Corvettes and spending time with his family.
A memorial service will be held, October 8th, 2pm at Kraeer Funeral Home, 1655 University Dr., Coral Springs, FL 33071, with a reception to follow 1-4pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Fred’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Conservation Fund at 1655 N. Fort Myers Dr. #1300, Arlington, VA. 22209.
