Flavia Catanzaro

Catanzaro, Flavia, 91, of San Antonio, Florida passed away June 27, 2012. Flavia was born June 13, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Joseph and Rose (nee Barocellone) Taormina. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Joseph Catanzaro in 1999 and her grandson, John Russo Jr. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Patricia Russo, JoAnna (Bryan) Ayers, Joseph (Joanne) Catanzaro, grandchildren, Lisa (Michael) Plociniak, Joseph Russo, Joseph Lendino, Christopher (Stacey) Russo, Jenelle (Alfonso) Alza, Justine Catanzaro, great grandchildren, Nicholas Russo, Caitlin Russo, Alfonso Alza Jr., Elizabeth Russo, Annabelle Plociniak, Christopher Russo Jr., Jacen Alza, Jerard Alza, Michael Russo, sister, Julia Balsari and stepbrother, Anthony (Teresa) Scozzaro. The family will receive friends Saturday and Sunday, June 30 & July 1, 2012, 5:00 - 8:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 2, 2012, 11:30am at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 8279 Sunset Strip, Sunrise, FL. Entombment will be immediately following at Our Lady, Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, North Lauderdale, FL.
