Manolakis, George T., 90, of Tamarac, passed away October 6, 2012. George was born June 30, 1922 in New York, New York to the late Thomas and Catherine (nee Vasilos) Manolakis. He served his country honorably during WW II with the 313th Infantry, 79th Division at the Invasion of Normandy receiving four Bronze Stars and a Silver Star. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Molly, daughters, Vickie Manolakis, Kathy Causey, Elaine Reyes, grandchildren, Eric Causey, Leif Causey, Carly Reyes, Alexa Reyes and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 13, 2012, 3:00 - 4:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs where funeral services will begin at 4:00pm.
